English Camps for high school students
Summer English camps provide high school students (ages 14-18) with an unforgettable learning experience as they use the English language to play games, do crafts, dance Scottish reels, explore Sighisoara with new eyes, all the while exploring important issues of identity, values and life choices. The main rule of camp is that only English is spoken.
The English camps were started by Morag Moffat from Scotland. For 14 years, she, along with volunteers and Veritas staff directed the camps. In recent years Adela Hermann, director of educational programs for Veritas has led the camps with help from additional staff, volunteers, and former summer campers. Camps are usually held during the first two weeks of the students’ summer vacation.
