This social service assists children aged 7 to 13 from disadvantaged families. The capacity of the programme is 50 children and their families. Activities take place twice or four times a week, depending on the age of the children, and are adapted to their age and needs. The objectives of the programme are to develop self-discipline, self-esteem, age-appropriate behaviour, psychomotor and practical skills.
Services offered to children:
- Social canteen (Monday to Friday)
- Psychological counselling
- Sanitary education
- Informal and non-formal education: activities to develop creativity and personal resources
- Instructive-educational activities: verbal communication education, mathematical activities, remedial support, homework, foreign languages.
- Recreational and social activities (movie, theatre, games, sports competitions, physical education, etc.)
- Religious education and Bible study
Services offered to parents/families:
- Social assistance (counselling, mediation, assessment, monitoring through home visits, etc.)
- Counselling/parenting education
- Support activities for the family system (support, financial help in case of emergency)
Annual activities: parties (Christmas, Mother's Day, 1st June), camps, trips, etc.
